I am a 38 year old married father of 3 living in the Milwaukee area. I am trying to do something new every week for an entire year that I have never done before. Somethings will be big, some smaller, and some I never even planned on doing. I want to take myself out of "my comfort zone." I was inspired to do this by a good friend of mine who did this last year (you can read about his adventures on 365 Daves). As I write this I have already Polar Beared on New Year's Day for the first time. I hope the rest of my year will be less painful.
UPDATE: I am now 29 weeks into this and have turned 39 now. I had no idea the amount of planning ahead for each week and the family and friend support this would take. I am gratefull to my wife and children for putting up with me this year (although the kids have had a lot of fun with this). I promise to continue on. I will attempt to "shake it up" a little bit more and also to do more charitable things for others. Thanks for following so far. Stay tuned!
